Biography
Benjamin Mosk is a Senior Financial Sector Expert at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in the Global Markets Analysis Division of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He is a lead editor of the IMF’s Global Markets Monitor, and specializes in the role of non-bank financial institutions in financial markets, including private credit, mutual funds, and ETFs. He recently led the IMF's analytical work on the impact of AI on capital markets. Before joining the IMF, Mr. Mosk held various positions at the European Central Bank, and was a Research Fellow at Stanford University. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Amsterdam, and a Master’s in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Mr. Mosk is also a CFA charter holder.
