- Biography
- Dr Painter is the Economic Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Dominican Republic. Her responsibilities include conducting economic research and provide expertise advice on issues related to Financial Economics and International Finance for policymaking decisions. For over 10 years, she was the Head of the Foreign Exchange Reserve Management at the Treasury Department where she was responsible for the design and execution of the FX reserves portfolio investment strategy, quantitative analysis, risk management and strategic asset allocation. She holds a PhD in Economics from Florida International University (FIU), a Master of Science in Finance and a post-graduate degree in Risk Management from the IAE Aix en Provence in France. Furthermore, she is a Fulbright Alumni.
