Biography
Gianni Amisano is Assistant Director in the Division of Research and Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. He holds a PhD in Economics and has held positions in central banking and academia, including at the European Central Bank, the University of Brescia, and Georgetown University. His research interests are in Bayesian econometrics, macroeconometrics, and financial econometrics, with work on macroeconomic shocks, forecasting model evaluation and combination, and state-space modeling. His research has appeared in the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Econometrics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of Financial Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics.
