Biography

I have worked at the Central Bank of Seychelles for sixteen years. For the past five years I managed the middle office and in October 2024, I was promoted to the role of Director of the Financial Markets. I am passionate about investment and risk management. In this new capacity, I provide oversight and support for the implementation of the monetary and reserve management policies of the Bank. This involves the operationalisation of policies through formulation of guidelines with clear risk management and reporting functions. I also support the management of the government securities market which is also a responsibility of the division. In terms of academic background, I studied a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Finance at the Curtin University. Furthermore, to consolidate my soft skills, I completed a Master in Business Administration with the University of Aberdeen. I am also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
