Biography

Jelena Janković is Director of Financial and Banking Operations at the Central Bank of Montenegro, with over 20 years of experience in central banking. For the past nine years, she has been responsible for foreign exchange reserves management, monetary policy implementation, and banking services for the state. She previously served as Head of the Risk Management Department and held several senior roles within the Central Bank, developing extensive expertise in risk analysis, asset allocation, and financial market strategy. Jelena holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Belgrade and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). She is a key member of the Central Bank’s Investment Committee and reports regularly to the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro. She also serves as a board member of the Central Securities Depository and Clearing Company of Montenegro.
