- Bruno Pires Tiberto is an advisor at the Central Bank of Brazil, where he has worked since 2014. He currently works in the Department of Statistics, where he is responsible for the production and compilation of macroeconomic statistics, with a particular focus on external sector statistics. He has extensive experience in economic research covering external sector, monetary and fiscal policy, financial stability, financial markets, and central bank credibility, transparency, communication, and independence. He has authored academic publications on these topics and serves as referee for several international economics journals. Bruno holds a PhD in Economics and has also worked in the Economic Department and in the Macroprudential Regulation Division of the Central Bank of Brazil.
