Biography

Marek Ličák is Director of the Financial Stability Department at the National Bank of Slovakia, where he has built over 20 years of expertise in the field. He leads the production of the Financial Stability Report and oversees the conduct of macroprudential policy in Slovakia. He represents the institution on several high-level committees and working groups at the ECB, ESRB, and European Commission, focusing on financial stability matters. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and seminars, and regularly contributes to media coverage of financial stability issues.
