Satine Asoyan is the Head of Global Markets Risk Management Division at the Central Bank of Armenia, where she has worked for over seven years. She is currently responsible for financial risk management of Armenia’s foreign exchange reserves, as well as for designing the investment policy statement and strategic asset allocation framework for the reserves portfolio. Previously, Ms Asoyan’s roles at the Central Bank focused on developing government bond yield curve and index methodologies for the Armenian financial markets, as well as on risk management of monetary policy implementation. Before joining the Central Bank, she specialized in the valuation and analysis of fixed income, derivative, and structured credit instruments, with a focus on emerging market credit risk and exotic financial instruments. Ms Asoyan holds a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics and a master’s degree in financial risk management from Yerevan State University, and is a CFA charterholder.
